So this morning we got up and took the baby bird to the Sarvey Wildlife Clinic.
Such a hard thing. Ian cried big huge tears the whole way there. I wanted him to make the decision to take it and he did. But it was a hard one. What got me was when he said " but now I'll never get to see it walk or anything mom!" I was crying that he could be so sweet and caring but such a tough little boy too and that he was so torn. Good bye baby Jack

Sorry the bird was so hard to let go. Animals are never fun to let go of. At least the duck will be taken care of by people that are prefessionals, people that know what they are doing.
