Ian's first Horseback Riding Lesson

Today was Ian's first riding lesson at Lucky 13 Stables. You can see in the first pict he was nervous but at the end he was all SMILES! They said he was a natural rider and was able to do more than they usually do with new students! Ian did say his legs and buttom were definately sore. He said bball practice was harder than usual because of it but totally worth it. He loves it and can't wait for his next lesson!

Nicky the American Girl Doll

So in 2007 American Girl Doll came out with their special doll and her name was Nicky. I've always wanted to get one for Elle but really she was only 2. So I bought it back then with the book all about Nicky and saved it until she was old enough to ask for one herself. SOOO Excited she finally asked for one. I think the monthly catalogs deliverd to our house in her name kind of helped speed things up but Im good with that. She loves this little doll and was so excited to wear matching outfits. I know it won't last very long before she's a tough big girl so I'm enjoying every second of this little girl doll & princess stage.

Elle got a cute little muffin baking set from Grandma Dee for Christmas. She was so excited to put on her new apron and cook with her own cooking pan and wisk. They were yummy blueberry muffin. Stella & Elle are two peas in a pod. Had had fun baking and eating.

Great Wolf Lodge

Its the biggest indoor water park this side of Texas. We got the kids the Cabin Suite so their room was a cool cabin and mom, great gram, and ours was just a normal room with two beds and a fireplace with a deck. It was way to cold to use deck but we also enjoyed the fireplace. Each room has a little kitchen in it too. So much fun!!! It was 84 degrees 24x7 so Great Gram was happy and we enjoyed the warm "tropical" feel too. Every night the main lodge and lobby put on a little show and then it "snowed" the bubble snow like at Disnleyland. Great Gram hadn't ever seen that before. Mom was so much fun to have there too. The kids really enjoyed it. I hope we can do a family reunion here it would be awesome!

Christmas Morning

Chase wanted good Snowshoes. He's excited to go up on a few forest expeditions. He also got a the Samari Katakana Sword he wanted and a weighted wooded practice sword.
Ian wanted a PSP. He is such a gamer. We set time limits for him. He also got Horse Back Riding Lessons. He's our animal kid.
Jaden wanted special Heely's. Easy one this year for us. But he loves them. He also wanted LEGO's. So we got him a HUGE box of LEGOS's with about 20 Lego guys. He's in heaven!

Elle's American Girl Doll "Nicky"

We had a great Christmas. Santa brought all of their major wants and they got way to much from family too. We also suprised the kids with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge on Christmas day. The last present they opened was a big box of beach towels and a letter that said. "Pack you bags we're leaving now for Great Wolf! Merry Christmas, Mom and Dad"
They were so excited and we had to much fun. And Great Gram and my mom came with us.
