2010 Santa Pict in Chelan

 

This year we're at our condo in Lake Chelan until the 23rd. We've had so much fun ice skating, cross country skiing, sledding and indoor swimming. Today we did a polar dip in the ice cold lake. It was SO COLD!!! Running through the snow to get to the lake was as hard as dunking into the lake. Some of our friends have come over to stay with us and it has been so fun having them here to play. Such a fun start to our Christmas vacation.

Elle's Gingerbread House- Kindergarten

 

 

 

This was my last kindergarten gingerbread making day :(. I will miss this fun little day. It has been so fun with each one of the kids!

Jaden's Baptism

Can you believe Jaden is already 8!!!??!?! He has grown up so fast. He is such a good little guy. Ryan asked him right after the baptism while they were changing "how do you feel?" He replied " I don't know dad I just feel kind of "NEW" right now." What a sweet and simple answer- We are new again!
My mom and Ryan's mom and our great grandma Rhoda were able to attend. It was so awesome having Grandma Kathy there for the Thanksgiving holiday and for the baptism. Happy Bday Jaden. We're so proud of you!

Halloween 2010

This year the kids had 3 days of Halloween. Ryan's big company party, the huge halloween party we had last night with about 600 people and then a little one tonight. We just did a little door to door. Mainly friends and neighbors then went to our friends house for an hour to relax and hang. Ian is a vampire, Jaden Snake Eyes from GI Joe ,and Elle is a blue Fairy. Chase just found a surfer wig and threw it on as a sorry excuse for a costume but still able to score some candy. However everyone asked if he was Justin Beiber! That was awesome. He wasnt happy about it but we had a good laugh!

For family night tonight we finally got our pumpkins finished. We usually do it during the schools Harvest Festival but it was during a football game and we only got to go for the first hour. So we took them home to finish them. Kids had fun and they are done :)

Chase Turns 14!!!

 

Can you believe my oldest child is 14! I can't even though I am looking at him everyday. He is about 5'10 and still growing. Should be pretty close to the 6'5" like dad. He is a great guy. (can't say kid anymore) Good in school, sports, morals and church. All around good guy that everyone loves. I am so grateful for him. Yes, he has his "teenager" moments but overall I am pretty freakin lucky! This year he and a few buddies did a night corn maze. The day before he had them all over for tackle basketball in a bouncy house, then the night corn maze then a movie in the theater room. To many days of fun if you ask me but he loved it. Happy Bday Chase bud!

 

 

Elle's First Soccer Game!

I had to put in a few. This was my last 1st time kiddo into YMCA Rookie sports. Such a fun experience when they try it out for the first time. Such excitement. There are a few of her in action and one of her getting bored on the middle of the field just playing with her glittery cleats! To fun! She did great!

 

 

 

 

1st Day of school

Chase is in 8th grade (top dog of the school) Ian is in 5th grad (also the top dog), Jaden is in 2nd grade and Elle started Kindergarten!!! The first week is now over and everyone loves their classes. Two older of course realize there is more work involved so its not as fun to start back to school but the 2 youngest still think its just fun! Loving all 4 kiddo's in school and getting to volunteer with so many different ages. Happy 2010-11 school year!

Elle's Kid Bday Party

So we had the bouncy houses ready and the swimming pool and it RAINED and RAINED! Luckily I had a lady come and do face painting and balloon making so between the flower barretts and beaded bracelets we made and games and then all she did they girls still had fun! My house was totally crazy but it was fun!
